The weather outside has been anything short of frightful these last few weeks, unless you count 75F and sunny as unwelcome seasonal weather. Although it doesn’t feel like it should be December in the slightest, we’re ready to break out the festive, wintry cocktails and create our own holiday cheer.
Today we’re sharing our recipe for a Jasmine-infused Moscow Mule! The fragrant Jasmine Silver Needle pairs wonderfully with spicy-sweet ginger beer, giving our favorite winter cocktail an extra little zip.
JASMINE MULE:
2oz vodka
1oz Jasmine Silver Needle syrup*
5oz ginger beer
1/2 oz fresh lime juice
Combine vodka, and jasmine syrup in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously then pour into a chilled copper mug. Pour in lime juice then top with ginger beer. Stir gently before serving. Garnish with lime.
*JASMINE SILVER NEEDLE SYRUP:
5 tbsp Jasmine Silver Needle dried tea leaves
3 tbsp agave nectar
Bring 12oz water to a boil then pour into a measuring cup. Let cool 1 minute. Add Jasmine Silver Needle tea and allow to steep for 5 minutes. Strain brewed tea into another measuring cup or a mug and add the agave. Stir until dissolved.
