Spiked Peppermint Bark Fog
(Makes one 16oz cocktail)
Ingredients:
4 tbsp Peppermint Bark black tea
8 oz water
8 oz steamed milk
3 tsp light brown sugar
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
1-2 oz cognac, to taste
Directions:
In a measuring cup, combine 4 tbsp Peppermint Bark and 3 tsp raw sugar.
Bring 8oz water to a boil. At the same time, add the vanilla extract and milk to a milk frother and heat. Some of the milk will be whipped into foam, so in order to have 8oz of steamed milk you’ll need a little excess. You can also heat the vanilla and milk in a saucepan over medium heat. Remove from heat just before the milk begins to boil.
Add 8oz boiling water and 8oz steamed milk to the measuring cup containing the tea leaves and sugar. Steep for 5 minutes and give it a stir, then strain into a mug.
Add the cognac to taste. Top with a little foam or whipped cream, as desired. If you’re feeling very festive, sprinkle with crushed peppermint candies.
