This calming blend of lavender, coconut and Greek Mountain “Tea” is delightfully rich and incredibly satisfying. With notes of honey, lavender, coconut, lemon and chamomile, it strikes a perfect balance between herbaceous and sweet. Though this blend does contain some Rooibos, it’s flavor profile is much more herbal forward than Rooibos forward.
Also known as Sideritis, or Iron Wort, Greek Mountain “tea” is a perennial herb in the mint family that thrives at high altitude in areas around the Mediterranean. It is rich in antioxidants and locals have long prized it for its calming properties as well as its potential healing properties. Local lore proports that Greek Mountain “Tea” has anti-anxiety effects as well as anti-inflammatory, analgesic, immune boosting and digestive aid properties. A small number of studies have begun to emerge that support these claims.
*** When referring to Greek Mountain “Tea”, we list the word tea in quotes since this herb does not actually contain any portion of the tea plant (Camellia Sinensis); however, it is commonly referred to as Greek Mountain “Tea”.
We recommend steeping Honeyed Lavender for 5 minutes at 208°. Since it does not contain any portion of the tea plant it is very forgiving and difficult to over-steep.

Floral-hater approved!! I am not a floral person and I love this tea. Honestly, I think they should rename it “Honeyed Lemonade”. If you look the ingredients, it has pineapple and lemon flavors, and to me those really come forward in the smell and the flavor. It’s like “pow! lemonade”! And not like a gross artificial lemon flavor (not like a Lemonhead candy), it smells and tastes like fresh zest of lemon, but also balanced out with honey (and a little tiny puff of Lavender in the background that doesn’t bother me and I also don’t notice). I honestly wouldn’t have known lavender was in there if not for the name. Im glad I tried this one, as I bought if off the description online and wasn’t able to go in person. Floral haters, I approve this one! Must try!
