Lapsang Souchong

For centuries Lapsang Souchong was carried across Asia on camelback to reach markets in Europe. It was on these long journeys that this distinctive black tea originally developed its signature smoky aroma and flavor from the camp fires burned by merchants to keep warm at night. Today the crisp and slightly sweet smoky flavor is created by gently smoking the tender leaves over a pine fire.

We recommend steeping Lapsang Souchong for 3 minutes at 195°.
