One of the most famous teas from Anxi County in Fujian Province. The name translates to “Iron Goddess of Mercy,” a nod to the legend surrounding the origin of the tea’s growth in Anxi County. This year’s harvest is grown at an altitude of 500m and hails from Pingzhoucun Tea Garden. Flavor profile is simply enchanting: sweet, creamy top notes with a heady floral aroma. Mellow and warm. Although harvested in the autumn, Tie Guan Yin is a perfect spring tea.
We recommend steeping Tie Guan Yin for 3 minutes at 195°.
Ingredients: Oolong tea.
Tasting notes: bright, sweet, warm, notes of osmanthus
